Nancy FinnesonPrincipal
Interior Designer | AKBD | CAPS  | Allied Member ASID

Nancy Finneson grew up in Connecticut, a stone throw from NYC. She attended the Art Institute of Chicago and later received a degree in Interior Design.  After spending many years in the San Francisco bay area she now makes her home on the beautiful Puget Sound.  Through her travels abroad she developed her own design style.

Good design encompasses color, balance and function.  With an eye for art in all forms, Nancy combines and balances different design elements into an elegant and clean look. The key to Nancy's style is to achieve what works for the client, the space, and the environment. Drawing from successful aspects of numerous styles she can mix the classic horizontal lines of the Prairie style with a dash of Japanese influence for a sharp uncluttered view, or she can combine warm Tuscan tone and texture into a modern kitchen.
Nature is always a significant piece of her interior plans. A glimpse of leaves can create a room with a view.
With an eye for function, Finneson designs for real people. The space should feel natural, comfortable and personal.  To Nancy, the finished design should be art, that is functional, safe and aesthetically  pleasing, often with unexpected element.
